As some of you know already, DICE is on this weekend.

It’s got an absolutely stellar line up, as you can see by the poster here. You’ll be able to meet editors from studios like Marvel, writers and artists on Titles like Batman, Deadpool, Halfpast Danger, Fearless Defenders and more.
Artists can get Portfolio reviews for pencilling, inking and colouring fromPJ Holden – 2000 AD: PJ will be reviewing penciling and inking submissions.

CB Cebulski – Marvel: C.B. will be reviewing penciling and inking submissions.

Declan Shalvey: Will be reviewing portfolios and offering advice to pencilers and inkers.

Jordie Bellaire: Will be reviewing color portfolios.

Matt Hollingsworth: Will be reviewing color portfolio

It’s quite an affable comic con, with opportunities to meet and talk with who you want to. So if you’re a writer and you don’t really get the opportunity to show a folio or work like the artists do, you WILL be able to network and make the connections and get the advice you’re looking for at DICE.
Just like a Pegbar event we at Pegbar recommend you bring business cards, This is a networking opportunity so come prepared and then email you’re new connections on Monday.
Marvel artist Dec Shalvey has some great advice here regarding portfolio submissions http://dshalv.tumblr.com/post/60851341021/portfolio-advice
You can pick up tickets on the door and you can get them online too ( which we recommend just in case it sells out) here at  www.thebigbang.ie and are available in store at The Big Bang as well!for those of you not looking for a job, it’s going to be a fun weekend. Be sure to ask the artists and writers to draw and sign you’re comics, children get to ,meet the folks who bring their heroes to life and if you’re a cosplayer, you get in free on SUNDAY, which is the day of the cosplay contest.

Have a good weekend and we the Pegbar team wish all the best to DICE team this weekend.
